On Thursday 7th March, we celebrated World Book Day at school. As part of the celebrations, children and staff dressed up as fictional characters from a their favourite book. It was fantastic to see the costumes created.
During the remembrance service today, Mrs Walker and Mrs Hall talked to the children about ‘remembrance’, and why many people wear poppies as November 11th draws near. The poppy is a sign of remembrance, it shows we have not forgotten those who sacrificed their lives for us during the wars.
