On Sunday 7th July, Queen Victoria Primary School were invited to take part in Big Sing in the Park with Dudley Performing Arts at Mary Steven's Park, Stourbridge. The sun was shining and many people turned up to enjoy the day.
On Thursday 7th March, we celebrated World Book Day at school. As part of the celebrations, children and staff dressed up as fictional characters from a their favourite book. It was fantastic to see the costumes created.
During the remembrance service today, Mrs Walker and Mrs Hall talked to the children about ‘remembrance’, and why many people wear poppies as November 11th draws near. The poppy is a sign of remembrance, it shows we have not forgotten those who sacrificed their lives for us during the wars.
